Dan Field, CEO, and AtomAMPD are proud to announce that AtomAmpd will soon be installing a cutting-edge voice-over-IP system in the USA Curling National Office in Stevens Point, WI. The use of an AtomOS based platform will further enhance USA Curling’s communication abilities and reduce annual telecommunication expenses.
Mr. Field and his various businesses, most recently AtomAMPD, have been a stalwart supporter of USA Curling since the 2000 U.S. National Championships, held in Madison, WI. Since becoming involved with USA Curling, Mr. Field has supported the organization and the U.S. Olympic Team curlers at the 2002, 2006 and 2010 Olympic Winter Games. He has also provided on-site support at numerous U.S. National and World championships.
“I can safely say that without the ongoing support of Dan Field and the companies he brings to the table, USA Curling would be nowhere near where we are today in terms of a dynamic web site, interactive programming for fans, and a constantly updated IT system at the national office,” said Rick Patzke, USA Curling Chief Operating Officer. “Not only that, but his companies’ support has directly impacted the extensive growth of curling in the United States. Our membership has swelled over 22% since the 2002 Olympics, and Field’s tireless efforts to keep the sport and USA Curling front and center digitally definitely contributed to that.”
The monetary contribution by Field and his companies is between $75,000 and $100,000 annually. In 2010, his companies’ contributions to USA Curling surpassed the $1 million mark. Mr. Field’s support comes in both value-in-kind services and the subsidizing of information technology services and equipment, with the help of AtomAMPD’s proprietary software and hardware technology solutions.
“We are appreciative and proud to have such a long partnership with Dan and his companies, and are looking forward to many more years together,” said Patzke. “We only hope that Field and his companies have realized similar positive benefits through their association with this 500-year-old sport of tradition and camaraderie.”
